6-Cyl Lycoming Multi Short - Spark Plug Tray

$35.00

Ideal for customers with mixed ignition systems on 6-cylinder Lycoming engines. This spark plug tray has been meticulously designed with several features to facilitate ease of use:

1. Versatile Compatibility: Designed to fit most automobile spark plugs used with electronic ignitions and most short-body aviation spark plugs used with magnetos, providing convenience for customers with either or both ignition configurations.

2. Secure Locking: Most automobile spark plugs used with electronic ignitions securely lock (snap) in place with a firm press into the tray. Most short-body aviation spark plugs securely lock in place by either a firm press or a few turns of the spark plug into the tray.

3. Propeller Location Indexing: Text indicator shows the propeller location for accurate indexing.

4. Engine Configuration: Spark plug/Cylinder locations are oriented in the same configuration as on Lycoming engines.

5. Prompt Guidance: Easy-to-follow guidance indicating how to swap aviation spark plugs post-cleaning (applicable to magneto ignitions only). i.e. Exchange #1 Top spark plug with #6 Bottom or exchange 5# Top spark plug with #2 Bottom.

6. Impact Dissipation: Designed to intentionally fail via delamination and compression upon impact (if dropped). This enhances the likelihood of minimizing damage to spark plugs.

Notes
1. Item shown holding an NGK BR8ES 14mm car spark plug, an Autolite UREM40E 18mm aviation spark plug and a Champion C10S spark plug.

2. Item is constructed using PLA. Due to variations in temperature and the printing process, some spark plugs may initially fit tightly. With continuous use, the PLA surface will wear, facilitating placement and removal of the spark plugs.
